WA Government – Free RAT Supply For Your Members
Please see letter from David Eaton, the WA Small Business Commissioner who is offering free RAT supply to our members so that regional businesses can access them. All details in the letter below.
Good Afternoon,

With the winter flu season fast approaching, it is important for small businesses to put measures in place to reduce disruption from illness. This includes being alert to the continued possibility of COVID-19 cases in the WA community, with more than 2,200 new cases reported in the week to 23 February 2023.

I have been authorised by the Western Australian Government to offer industry associations, chambers of commerce and industry and other groups with small business members, a supply of free rapid antigen tests (RATs) for you to offer to your cohorts, including business owners, their employees and families.

An order form is available on our website. Order quantities will be 1,000 tests, 2,000, 5,000 and 6,500 (1 pallet or multiples thereof). Your order will be transmitted directly to the Department of Finance, who will undertake all logistics and fulfilment.

I encourage you to take up this offer as soon as possible, to help our state’s small businesses sector continue its recovery from the impacts of COVID-19.

Yours sincerely
David Eaton
SMALL BUSINESS COMMISSIONER

RCCIWA Monthly Online Members Meeting
On the second Tuesday of each month at 10am we hold an online members’ meeting which usually runs for an hour to 90 minutes. We usually see between 6 to 15 members represented each month to give member updates, discuss common issues & possible solutions to these, as well as the opportunity to share and learn from each other. We also hear from experts from the SBDC and CCIWA, as well as others as requested. The monthly meetings are a great way of connecting with our members with each other, as well as working through common issues or activities. Calendar Invites for the year were sent to our members last month. If you do not have a calendar invite, please let me know and I will send you one. The agenda and a reminder will be sent out a few days before the meeting each month. Our second meeting for 2023 will be held on Tuesday March 14th at 10am via MS Teams – we would love you to join us.
